This next chapter of ‘Tempus Vernum’ is going to be LONG. I’m 5,000+ words into the ‘love’ scene and I’m nowhere near done with it! I have at least three more scenes that need to be in this chapter. I fear my fingers will start going on strike soon!

In other news, I have a fairly busy weekend so I’m trying to get in as much writing as possible. I think that this sex scene in Tempus Vernum may just be my overall BEST one yet! In all my fics! I’m thoroughly pleased with myself. So I may be a teeny-weeny bit backed up!

So I’ve made few small changes. I’ve changed Arthur to a lizard and I’ve decided on Francis as a fox. Matthew will not be in the group in the first part.

Character Bios:

Feliciano: A rabbit. One of the highest ranking ‘Nephelai’ slaves- has his own small house on the grounds of his master with only a few servants and guards. He is usually lazy and rather carefree, enjoying the leisure time of sleeping, eating, cooking, and playing. Except when it comes to his ‘duties’. He is looking for a way out but is too terrified to attempt or plot an escape before the next full mating season. He is very easy going and can get along with any species. He takes a special liking to Ludwig and gets along well with Gilbert and Kiku. He is intimidated by the predators in the pack and chooses to stay close to Ludwig.

Ludwig: An alpha stag with large antlers fit for fighting. He is a rebel group leader posing as an undercover guard in a slave’s house to save his brother from death. Raised by a family of wolves he possesses a strong will to fight, rule, and conquer (within reason). He is the voice of reason, is noble, and one of the bravest in the pack. His goal is to bring his pack of different species safely to earth and begin life anew. His biggest fear is losing their way, and if an usual pack of different animals (predators and prey) can all get along; even with their heat cycles, primitive instincts, and the mating season coming on quick. He is challenged by other alpha members of his pack but never loses. Ludwig rather not have a mate and tries to hide during his rutting time. He takes a curious interest in the annoying rabbit he should have left behind.

Gilbert: An albino wolf. He is Ludwig’s older brother and helped to raise him.. He is a captive slave in Feliciano’s boss’s house and resides with the rabbit, who is easy to intimidate and control. Unlike the other slaves Gilbert shows the strength and ability to fight like an alpha. He likes to get everyone rallied up and cause trouble with Francis and Alfred. He likes to pester Ludwig and nicknamed his ‘out-of-species’ baby brother ‘Steak’. He takes a special interest in Ivan. He helps the pack to hunt and will always be the first to attack. He is usually fearless and takes little caution when others tell him otherwise. He doesn’t always get along with Alfred or Arthur. He considers himself the ‘unofficial’ second in command after his brother.

Ivan: An alpha musk ox. He is extremely strong and dangerous with low hanging curved horns, but holds a shy and timid side. When threatened he can become vicious and deadly. Being the strongest in strength and weight he pulls the travel supply wagon for his pack and serves as the main labor strength. Most of the time he enjoys watching others having fun and trying to keep everyone together as friends. He likes to think everyone is his friend and wants to show it through mating or claiming. He takes an extra special liking to both Alfred and Gilbert, two predators of whom like to fight over him.

Arthur: A lizard. His fangs carry a deadly poison, which he uses to take down large game for his pack. He is usual cold and cynical, trying to throw logic into everything. He tends to be a little bitter because he is the only reptile in the pack. He doesn’t get along with Francis and takes special care of Alfred. He is anti-mating in all its forms and goes to hide whenever the need strikes him. Someone always seeks him out though…

Francis: An alpha fox. Sly, sexy, and sneaky, Francis is usually teamed up with Arthur to help stalk out trouble or spy around possible enemy territory. His sweet way of talking helps the pack to slip by army troops, town and city gates, and other hybrids. He can make wine out of almost any fruit and stores it (old and new) in jars the supply wagon. Along with Feliciano he helps to cook the food. Although he constantly fights with Arthur he takes a special interest in him. He likes to play ‘big brother’ and tries to be supportive of his pack members no matter what species they are. He thinks they are all beautiful creatures.

Sadiq: An alpha tiger. He is the oldest of the pack and highly skilled at hunting and killing. He works as the main hunter for the pack as well as a defender. When traveling he brings up the rear of the pack while Ludwig leads the front. Spends most of his leisure time in the trees with Kiku. His mate is already in the lower world and like Arthur, leaves the pack when it’s time to mate.

Kiku: A kite. Smart and calm, he is a bird-hybrid of prey who only speaks when it is necessary. His job in the pack is to always fly ahead and search for danger or for safe places to hide. He also helps to hunt for food and is best friends with Alfred and Sadiq. He can usually get along with the other pack members. He also helps in the fighting, having an aerial advantage over the enemy.

Alfred: An alpha timber wolf. A playful and rambunctious creature, Alfred is usually the one to get them into trouble, jump into danger with Gilbert, and gives away their hiding spots by being noisy. He is a solid hunter and has a very, very sensitive nose that can sniff out food and danger faster than any of the other predators. He tends to be full of himself and strives to be the best in the pack. Sometimes he likes to challenge Ludwig for the title of Alpha Leader. His best friends are Kiku and Arthur but he takes a special interest in Ivan. He doesn’t always get along with Gilbert.

All this evening, I’ve had ‘Tempus Vernum’ on my desktop, ‘Wild Child’ on my laptop, and the new Hetalia fic on my kindle fire…all of which are surrounding me. Why? I do not know. I’m working on each little by little. Silly, but efficient. When my husband saw me surrounded by technology…

How many words do you roughly write every day/week?

Hm…that’s a tough one. I’ve never really kept track. Sometimes I can pop out a chapter within a day. But upon thinking about it, I would say…on estimate, 800 to 1,000+ words on an average day. Other days can range depending on how much time I have. Sometimes I can only get in a paragraph, but I try to write every day.

Chapter 11 of ‘Tempus Vernum’ will take me a little longer to write, so everyone just bear with me! I have to write the next chapter of ‘Wild Child’, since, instead of alternating like I normally do, I wrote two ‘Tempus Vernum’ chapters back to back. Now I’m behind. But it all works out because Chapter 11 will have the ‘yummy’ germancest scene! I want to make it good!

I thought it, because Acteon was a hunter, and than when Artemis come, and put a spell on Acteon and he become a stag his dogs hunt him. And you say that Lud was an important soldier (the leader, the hunter), and than he discover about things that he doesn't know (he change his ways of thinking) and than when he goes to save Gil [and Feli], he was hunt for his "dogs". And you use a lot of Greek mythology, so I think it was the reason, cause I always use to see Lud like a dog and than... <3

You, my friend, are awesome! What an astounding connection! I love it! I only went with Greek Mythology because I could not think of names for cities, towns, and roads. Upon thinking, I realized the Greeks have hundreds of gods and goddesses! And sure enough, aside from Iris and a few wind gods, there were MANY names to use. Plus, I adore Greek mythology, so it all worked out!

Oh! That’s a good one! Although it’s not really what I used to make Ludwig a stag. I based it off of what the stag represents.

However, you did just give me an idea for Fractured Greek Myths- Hetalia style. Hm. Interesting. Whether this means anything or not…I tip my hat to you, my friend.
